Critical Logic's Instant Pilot Program applies RFTS™ to existing requirements for any active project that is between the SDLC stages of requirements and early coding (Agile-based organizations are easy since recurring "sprints" are typically 2-6 weeks long). Real results are available in a matter of days, and the entire process rarely lasts more than a couple of weeks.
How it worksIPP doesn't require you to create or do anything different than what you do today - just identify a project that is currently underway. We recommend that it not be too big or too small, and it needs to be representative of your company's typical project/technical complexity.
The process is amazingly simple:
- Forward a set of existing requirements for a representative portion of the project. If you don't have formal requirements, we can often work off of other existing documents.
- Provide a couple hours of staff time to quickly explain the requirements.
- Within days, we will deliver ambiguity reviews back to you that identify any gaps that could ultimately lead to project delays, rework costs, and poor quality.
- Build "functional models" of the detailed functionality and generate the required tests.
